The real purpose of estate planning is to properly plan for your own disability or death. If you don’t make your own decisions in advance regarding your assets, your healthcare, etc., the courts, or what’s in the law, will make those decisions for you.  Power of Attorney, Last Will & Testament, Trusts are all tools used in creating your estate plan

How much money should I have saved for retirement?

It depends. While generic planning formulas can be helpful, they don’t actually tell you what you, specifically, will need in your retirement. Everyone’s financial situation is unique, which requires a thorough understanding of your specific goals, individual financial habits, and even your behavioral biases. We can provide you with a comprehensive, personalized plan for retirement, taking into account your current spending habits, your ideal retirement lifestyle, healthcare costs and much more.

Where do I get money once I’m retired?

There are three primary sources of income you may have access to in retirement: personal retirement savings (IRAs), employer-sponsored plans (401(k), 403(b)), or Social Security. Knowing when and how to use these income sources is a critical part of successful financial planning, which is why client education is such an important piece of our planning process — we’ll help you define important milestones and develop strategies to overcome setbacks so you can feel less stressed and more optimistic about your financial future

How should I arrange my investments to meet my retirement needs?

Instead of holding a static mix of investments or withdrawing a set amount each year, we take a more flexible approach in order to adapt to your changing circumstances. This can better reflect how your spending will shift as you age, enabling us to adjust your portfolio as markets and your retirement time horizon evolve.
